Digital Humanities has grown so much the last ten years that the organizational structure of ADHO is not efficient any longer. At its yearly meeting on July 10, 2016, the ADHO Steering Committee approved a new governance framework and a new financial model. An Implementation Committee (IC) has started to work on a more detailed plan that will help to smooth the way for the official change to the new structure effective July 1, 2018.
The Implementation Committee suggested a draft roadmap, following the ADHO governance proposals and other related documents. Please give us feedback on the roadmap.
The first recommendations of the Implementation Committee, concerning the Proposed Financial Scenarios are now published for public comment.
The ADHO Steering Committee and the Implementation Committee are very much looking forward to your input. We need your help to change the ADHO organization into an open, friendly, and efficient community that can continue to work on its mission to further Digital Humanities with more and more new organizations all over the world.
