Equità, diversità e inclusione
ADHO si impegna a promuovere una conversazione dinamica con la comunità delle digital humanities su tutte le questioni relative all’equità, alla diversità e all’inclusione. Supportiamo sforzi continui per combattere il razzismo sistemico e strutturale e tutte le forme di discriminazione ed emarginazione. Tra le nostre iniziative, abbiamo istituito un Comitato per il Multilinguismo e il Multiculturalismo incaricato di sviluppare e promuovere politiche sull’inclusione linguistica e culturale. La Task Force per l’Inclusione Intersezionale di ADHO (2022-2024) è incaricata di affrontare le questioni della discriminazione razziale e dell’ingiustizia sociale. Inoltre, il nostro Comitato di Coordinamento delle Conferenze ha creato un Codice di Condotta destinato a garantire un ambiente conferenziale sicuro, rispettoso e collegiale a beneficio della comunità.

Statement on Black Lives Matter, Structural Racism, and Establishment Violence

The Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO) states publicly, directly, and specifically that Black Lives Matter; that we stand in solidarity with people around the world protesting against structural racism and other forms of oppression and discrimination; and that we recognize that we have work to do in our own digital humanities communities in order to become fully anti-racist and non-discriminatory organizations.
