The Local Organizing Team of the ADHO Digital Humanities 2023 conference (DH2023) is the proud recipient of the City of Graz Congress Award 2024 in the category “Extraordinary Event”!

The DH2023 conference in Graz “Cooperation as Opportunity”, from 10-14 July 2023, was the first on-site digital humanities conference of the Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO) since Utrecht in 2019, and was organized as a hybrid event.  On the two pre-conference days, 8 full-day and 22 half-day workshops were held at the University of Graz. During the conference at Messe Kongress Graz, 77 parallel sessions offered 250 papers of various formats, as well as an opening and a closing keynote lecture and a three-day exhibition of over 100 posters. DH2023 attracted 872 participants (768 on-site in Graz and 104 online) from 48 countries, across 6 continents.

Find a moment to remember the conference by watching the recap video.

The DH2023 conference is over but all the recordings of the presentations at DH2023 are now available through the DH_Graz YouTube channel.
