ADHO Statement on DH2020 and COVID-19

The Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations, in consultation with the DH2020 conference organizers and program committee, is closely following the unfolding international situation regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus).  Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the virus. Because the situation is changing quickly, we are planning for how best to ensure the health and well-being of conference attendees and organizers while taking into account the labour and financial commitments made.

This is an ongoing situation, and we intend to provide an update on the 2020 conference by 1 May.

In the meantime, we have extended the early bird registration deadline until 15 May in anticipation that the conference proceeds as planned. Please note that there is no longer a requirement for individuals who intend to present at the conference to register by 1 May to remain on the program.

For any questions regarding the conference organization, we encourage you to consult our FAQ in the first instance. Questions not covered by the FAQ may be directed to adho@adho.org.

With sincere best wishes to all,

The ADHO Conference Coordinating Committee
The 2020 Program Committee
The 2020 Local Organizers
