ADHO is glad to announce that Rowan Hall Maudslay has been awarded the Paul Fortier Prize for his outstanding paper, Decoding Tupaia’s Chart: A 250-Year-Old Mystery Holding the Secret of Pre-Contract Polynesian Sea Networks, presented at the Digital Humanities 2026 conference.
The Paul Fortier Prize is given each year to recognise the best paper by an early-career scholar at the annual Digital Humanities conference. Named in honour of Paul Fortier, a dedicated scholar and mentor, the award celebrates excellence in research and presentation in the field of Digital Humanities.
